Dear student, if you reached this page, it is because you have recently enrolled or received a pre-admission letter for the LM in Data Science but you are still waiting for your VISA.
Given the huge delays experienced by some of you in obtaining your visas, at this point, in order to help you out, we think that we must implement some exceptional measures.
First of all, I need to clarify that the University cannot do anything to help you to speed up the process to obtain the VISA.
These procedures are the results of international agreements and are managed internally
to consulates and embassies.
Second, let us state clearly that the University Federico II IS NOT an on-line university. Courses must be attended in person and therefore if you are not
waiting for a VISA, you can skip reading the rest of this message.
If you are waiting for a VISA and plan to complete your enrollment procedure as soon as you receive it, then you can attend lectures on line using the Microsoft TEAMS
platform as long as you are obliged to stay abroad. Remember, however, that if you do not receive the VISA before the deadline for the enrollment you will be automatically
excluded from the courses. Obviously, if you do not enroll, you cannot take the exams and no certificate of any sort will be provided. THIS SAID:in order to participate to the activities and courses while you are waiting for the VISA you can do what follows:
1. Download Microsoft TEAMS and install it (this is the platform used bu the University Federico II or as we call it: UNINA).
2. Write to the coordinator of the course longouniversita < ACT> gmail.com to be added as guest to the TEAM "First Year Students 2022/2023".
There you will receive all relevant communications.
3. To attend the lecture/seminars which will be held on most Monday accordingly to the schedule published HERE, you need
to send an email to: michele.delliveneri < ACT > na.infn.it asking to be added to the mailing list.
4. Courses will start on October 3-rd accordingly to the schedule published HERE. In order to enter the
teams of the courses you need to send an e-mail (from the account which you have connected to your TEAMS account) for each course to both the professor and to
the coordinator of the master following this model:
